The SolaX X1-AC 3.0kW AC battery inverter and 5.8-17.3kWh SolaX T58 5.8kWh battery energy storage system (from 5.8kWh to 17.3kWh capacity/3.0kW AC Coupled ESS) comprises:

This 5.8-17.3kWh/3.0kW AC Coupled ESS efficiently manages energy usage, ensuring a stable electricity supply while reducing costs by charging the battery with solar power or low-cost off-peak Octopus electricity. Coupled with an on-grid solar power source, it provides continuous 24/7 electricity for your home.
The 3.0kW X1-AC AC Coupled Inverter is designed to be compatible with an external backup generator, providing seamless electricity supply during extended grid outages when the battery storage is depleted.

SolaX X1-AC 3.0kW AC inverter Operating modes:
- Self-use (default): Without PV input, the battery discharges to power local loads first. If battery capacity is insufficient, the grid supplies power.
- Feed-in priority: In this mode, the inverter prioritises feeding power to the grid, then supplies local loads, and finally charges the battery. This is ideal in areas with high feed-in tariffs.
- Forced time use: Charging and discharging times can be set flexibly in this mode.

Backup mode: The battery reserves capacity while the grid is on. In the event of a grid outage, the battery discharges to keep emergency loads functioning normally, especially useful in areas prone to blackouts.
