Introducing Tyrann, a Game Changer for Backup Power and ESS Applications in Homes and Businesses 

TYRANN (10kW & 15kW) is an inverter charger, which features two independent AC inputs for connecting the grid and a generator, or two generators. It can automatically select the active source or the user-preset prioritised AC source based on the system demand. When peak power is required for a limited period, TYRANN will discharge the battery immediately to compensate the insufficient part of the limited AC source, safeguarding an uninterruptible power supply for loads to the maximum extent. TYRANN also features energy storage system (ESS) functionality. Its single-machine maximum power is up to 15kW, featuring a stronger surge capacity to carry inductive loads with a high initial current.

• Ultra-fast 0ms transfer to battery power: The TYRANN’s instant transfer speed guarantees uninterrupted power, when the inverter seamlessly switches to battery power in zero milliseconds to keep connected devices running smoothly.
• High-surge pure sine wave inverter: Delivers stable 230V AC output with a high surge capacity, providing the pure sine wave quality required for sensitive electronics and high-power-demand appliances.
• Enhanced flexibility: The TYRANN can be configured in parallel with up to 3 units in single-phase applications, or up to 9 units in three-phase applications, achieving a maximum output of 135kVA. It features a built-in smart port for generator input or a second AC output, which enhances system versatility.
• A programmable smart port: Built-in programmable smart port for generator input or power normal loads. When programmed as generator input, it can provide two AC inputs for the system. When it is programmed as AC Out 2 for connection normal loads, its on/off function can be controlled based on the grid condition and battery SoC/Voltage to manage loads in a smart way.
• ESS capabilities: The TYRANN inverter seamlessly integrates with the E4 LCD Monitor and IC-METER (sold on request), unlocking advanced Energy Storage System (ESS) functionalities. This allows for real-time monitoring, efficient energy management, and smooth interaction with the grid, ensuring a versatile and ready power solution.

• 100A transfer switch: The AC transfer switch in the TYRANN is rated up to 100A, allowing for up to 23.0kW of power to be passed through to the loads from the AC input when the inverter is in bypass.

• Customisable settings: Through an intuitive interface the user can easily adjust parameters such as battery type, AC input range, charging current, high/low voltage disconnect, charging stages, auto-restart, and power-saving modes.
• LCD monitoring screen: The optional E4 LCD Monitor displays real-time data including voltage, frequency, battery levels, and load percentages, making it easy to monitor performance and adjust settings.
• Integrated load management system: Manages power distribution across connected devices, optimising energy use and preventing overloads for reliable, balanced performance.
• Advanced communication and monitoring: Users can easily monitor performance through the Nova Web and mobile app via the TBB-KIN2 Kinergy-II Wi-Fi module, controlling and making adjustments from anywhere.
• Advanced battery management: The TYRANN inverters can be paired with AGM/GEL/OPzV/Lead-Carbon/Flooded/Traction/ Lithium batteries. Specifically, they are compatible with TBB's own 48V LiFePO4 batteries, including models such as ES100 II, PS5, and PS10.
